Kimiko gives a small shrug at her confession that she doesn't know how to cook because Kimiko is far from a chef herself. She wouldn't know the first thing about how to properly season anything or at what temperature something needs to be baked at for how long. But she can probably manage to cook whatever game they might find out here enough that it's edible.
