“At least we’ll be warm enough together in this shirt,” Izuku murmured. He felt badly. He wanted to argue this wasn’t all his fault, but by now he’s starting to feel as if he was.
“I’m not really sure what we’re fighting about, either. I wasn’t trying to boss anybody about the tent. I don’t think I’m better than you guys. And - I don’t want to be working by myself at home, but I have to,” Izuku explained to them, but especially Shoto. “I don’t know when you’re from, Todoroki, but. I’m sorry anyway.”
“I’m sorry I made both of you feel bad even if …” Izuku closed his eyes and tried to lean away from them in their limited space. It didn’t matter that he didn’t intend on that. “I’m sorry to both of you. But you didn’t do anything wrong, Todoroki. We’re both doing our best to learn. And. I shouldn’t have made everyone mad.”
