She's pretty sure that Peter can adapt to just about any situation considering that he's been working on his threshold for weirdness a lot longer than MJ has, but this whole situation feels beyond adaptability. How many other dead people are around? How many dead people might show up without any sort of warning? What if a future version of Ned comes along and tells them that they'd both died years ago?
