(A world of potential and hope. What a concept, in comparison to the worlds she's been in before this place. If there was ever any hope to be found for her, it wasn't in the worlds themselves, but in her daughter.
Rose steadies herself as she listens to him speak, though her mind is a whirlwind. A soft exhale leaves her parted lips as Wesker mentions her departure into the sea — it's really him, someone familiar from Trench, and that in itself feels like a lifeline. She finds herself stepping closer to him too, nearing his personal space in a way she might usually be mindful not to. He had always seemed a severe man, mysterious in many ways — perhaps intimidating in many others. But he was never anything but kind to her, and he'd been someone to rely on more than once. They'd helped each other. She's truly glad to see him.
Rose looks back over to Wesker's strange companion then, still startled by him, but relaxing back a bit now that it's evident here's no threat here. Dr. Hasen... Stunned, but politely, Rose offers a gentle wave of her own, mouth curving into the slightest hint of a smile. A doctor.. He must work in this place? This is all so.... unexpected.
But her eyes quickly flit back to the man, and she shakes her head, earnestly. )
No — I'm so happy to see you. When I woke up here, I thought.... ( Something in her chest hitches suddenly, and her words catch. ) I thought I was alone again.
( Like when she'd woken on the shores of Trench. She'd spent months searching for Sharon, desperate and pained. Being in another new world... it's nice to see a familiar face. )
I'm sorry that I left. I didn't... I didn't want to leave you all behind.
( Her brow knits, ache pinching its fingers into her heart as her eyes glaze over. Leaving Sharon had devastated her, and for Rose, that memory happened mere seconds ago. )

How long have you been here...?
