Thankfully, the only place she's needed to keep an image, Harrow knew the limits of her luck. So she got silence. Silence until things fucking mattered. Gideon still walked away from people if she wanted. No one expected the Ninth to be polite, and it's hard to signal the end of a conversation when you aren't supposed to talk. Hand gestures would sort of be cheating.

"This is why I'd rather not be a celebrity," Gideon says, "You have things like images. Feel free to be blunt with me. I won't take offense if you need to go or have other things to do.
