Not too many people with wings, or people with wings are polite and don't interrupt each other mid-flight. It makes sense, and it also gives Hawks an easy way to avoid the worst of it when he needs to. She would probably fly everywhere too if that were the case.

"Ninth House doesn't do the competitive circuit for cavaliers," Gideon says, "Never got ranked, but that's showboating stuff, competitions, not the real deal. I've done what I need to do. Good enough for me."
