Arthur hands over the relic without hesitation. After a couple of months here he finds there isn't much that he intends to hide here-- nothing he's ashamed of. This place makes him ask the same existential questions that have plagued him for years and yet every day someone new seems to open up his world a little more.

He scrolls past a post to get back down to the list before letting the device go. It's not exactly hidden from Varric's eyes but it is generally dismissed in lieu of more relevant information at hand.

"Sorry. I hadn't started it exactly prepared for a proof-reading but we've talked about the, uh, theological aspects of this. Taking a step back might be the advice I've been waiting for."

He steadies Varric's Relic before taking a look over the other man's list himself. By the time he's skimming Arthur considers something the new arrival might need to be made aware of.

"If you have any particularly sensitive memories I'd build in something to protect yourself. I've never experienced them myself but others here have talked about things like memory swaps or ghosts from their past appearing. Not frequent, but it's happened enough."
