The light in Rose's eyes dimmed slightly at Dex's response, her usual chipper demeanor softening into something more contemplative. Instead of her typical upbeat reply, she simply tilted her head, watching him closely, a thoughtful hum escaping her lips. It was hard to tell whether the sound conveyed judgment or understanding.
