PANDORA'S FOX II

If you were here last June, do you remember that app that appeared on the relics then, Pandora's Fox? It's all about finding your Familiar bond. It's been available for people to use since every Star Child was forced to fill it out or have it filled out for them with its grand reveal. However, it's sat quietly in the background unobtrusive to those who didn't click to see what it was about.

Until now.

That's right, Pandora's Fox is back! (and with a makeover). The app has been rejiggered with old questions and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a Familiar bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

Familiar bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!

[ Alluka nods, and she takes the words to heart. She always believed she'd see Big Brother again, no matter how many years passed. She was right then, so this nice woman could be right now. Even if Gojo isn't simply far far away in the same world somewhere. Even though he might not remember her at all. She's been through that once. She'll handle it if it happens. Best to have him somehow.

Then Alluka startles into standing. She picks up the relic so it focuses on her face again. ]

Sharon! Sharon da Silva?! She's my sister!

( The reply has Rose's eyes widening, heart giving an involuntary flutter. It's always a warmth to hear that someone here not only knows her daughter, but is fond of her, but this takes it to new heights entirely. She smiles, curious and charmed in equal parts, already so soft for this sweet little girl. )

You know her...! I'm so glad that she's met someone as kind as you. You call each other sister?

( They must be very close? It's such a nice thought. )

[ Sharon's mom! Alluka feels so happy she could burst from joy. Sharon has her mom, the first other person from her world and she's one of the best. Alluka grins, reaches into her pocket, and squeezes the plushie carefully carried there. ]

I do. We adopted each other per the rituals of Folkmore. We are officially sisters. Nanika and I and Sharon.

Oh — I've heard about those. ( Maul told her a little about them, bonds that can be established. Her heart warms at the thought of Sharon partaking in something with this sweet little girl. No doubt, she's been protecting her. )

I'm so happy to hear that! If you're her sister now, then that means maybe we can be like family, too.

( She smiles again, curious and charmed by the thought of yet more little girls — look, she'll take them all! )

Nanika is another sister? I don't think I've met her yet, but I'm happy to hear there are so many of you looking out for one another.

They're a special part of this realm. [ Alluka looks at Rose seriously. Sharon likes her mom, and Sharon has good judgment, so Alluka hopes that Rose will like Nanika too. She has a positive outlook about most things, but Alluka also looks after and is protective of Nanika. ]

Nanika is in here with me. [ Alluka points towards herself. ] You haven't met her yet, but she's the best.

[ Not scary. Alluka doesn't say that part because that would make most people wonder if Nanika is scary. ]

( Rose pauses at that. No fear infiltrates her features, just a quiet surprise, a curiosity. "in here with me"? )

Do you mean... in your body?

[ Alluka nods. Nanika doesn't want to come out on Pandora's Fox at all, and this conversation's a potentially scary one. Alluka is brave. ]

Yes. She's been here my whole life. It's how we're supposed to be.

[ She wriggles up her face. ]

When we first arrived, something pulled me out of our body, and we were apart. That's actually how I met Sharon. I wound up in her fridge. [ Giggling because there was food in her non-physical body. ]

( Rose pauses again, considering this information. There's so much she could ask, but she doesn't want to risk overwhelming or upsetting the girl, and knows she's a stranger, even if she's Sharon's Mom.

But this is.... Could this be something like with what happened with her own daughter? A situation similar to Alessa? Or something vastly different? However it is, it's similar enough even on the surface level to draw her in so fast she couldn't possibly turn away from it. )

It's not the first time I've heard of people sharing bodies, ( she'll start there, ) although it's more rare, where I come from. Are things like that common in your world, or are you and Nanika special? ( She offers a soft smile. )

[ Alluka smiles. Look at these people taking it in well, even when they aren't together where it's easier to tell what people are thinking. Nothing beats being together for that. Still, it's very nice to be taken seriously and nicely. That's even been much more the norm than anything bad. Oh people are surprised, taken aback, sure, but they take it decently. ]

We're the only people like us I know about in our world, but in the Boiling Isles, that's where Amity is from, there are people with two heads, and they're two people too. We wouldn't be so strange there.
