Pandora's Fox II

PANDORA'S FOX II

If you were here last June, do you remember that app that appeared on the relics then, Pandora's Fox? It's all about finding your Familiar bond. It's been available for people to use since every Star Child was forced to fill it out or have it filled out for them with its grand reveal. However, it's sat quietly in the background unobtrusive to those who didn't click to see what it was about.

Until now.

That's right, Pandora's Fox is back! (and with a makeover). The app has been rejiggered with old questions and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a Familiar bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

Familiar bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!

This is game canon!

Forms for your characters!

I can work and play! I've been getting better at balancing the two.

[She's no longer a workaholic! It's great. She's doing so good. (Still a bit of a workaholic, but. She's trying.)

And OH NO THEY'RE SO CUTE. She coos.]

They're precious! I hope their mother returns soon. They're too sweet to be left behind.

[She misses Ghost :c :c :c when will her sweet kitty return from the box hell.]

The balance for you should be 75% play and 25% work.

[ Don't be like him, Amity. Don't be like the man formerly known as the Tenacious Kim Rok Soo.

He keeps the camera aimed at the cubs so the girl can get her fill of them. Even he can admit that they're stupidly cute, albeit a bit scary. ]

She comes back for them after hunting. [ Thankfully. ] With nature in chaos right now she must think it's safer to leave these brats with me for some reason.

[ When they're asleep like this Cale thinks they aren't so bad... He reaches out with his hand to gently rub each of their heads (the state of the hems of his sleeves gives a hint as to just how not-gentle the cubs are when awake), earning a sudden spike of loud purrs.

Cale lets out a small huff as if he finds this whole situation a nuisance, but there's no hiding that underlying fondness. ]

It will be good when things are back to normal and the wildlife can return to living freely.

Those are lofty expectations! Reverse those numbers, and I'll consider working my way down.

[At least let her do 50-50...

She will enjoy the little lion show, though. So cute. No one can begrudge her indulging in this kind of 'play'.]

I agree. It'll be better for all of us. I hope it happens soon... it's starting to feel cramped around here.

It isn't an expectation, just a suggestion based on your age and the potential you have. Working too hard when you're so young can limit your growth and burn you out.

It's okay to take your time, Amity.

I know... I want to help, though. The more work we do now, the better chance we have at things going back to normal. There'll be plenty of time to play then.

this is one of the most hypocritical things he's said and he has no idea 🫠

It's good that you want to help, but what if things continue this way for longer than you expect? What if there is still a lot of work once things return to normal, or things never return to how they were?

You can't guarantee the future. Pace yourself accordingly, balancing work and play, and you can be better prepared for unexpected variables.

[Big oof, there.]

What do you think our chances are? That things will go back to how they were before... it's hard to stay optimistic about it, sometimes.

Hmm. Things won't go back to exactly as they were before, but they will go back to the old 'normal' before winter comes. There will probably be a lot more work to do for a few weeks once we're allowed to roam freely again.

...You say that so confidently, I may actually believe you.

It is your decision whether to believe me or not. Regardless of the outcome, my advice will be the same and you can always come to me if you need me.
