"Right," he agrees immediately. "Folkmore." A word he's never said before in his life, rolling off his tongue as easily as his own name. He... doesn't know why he knows that. But he's starting to remember a lot of things he didn't know before. Almost as though crashing in the sand knocked them loose, and now the pieces are coming back together.

"There's the human world, and then there's the underworld. Where demons come from," he explains. "But I guess it makes sense you never heard of it if you're from a totally different world... since other worlds apparently exist, and all." He gestures at the landscape around them.

"If this is a dream, my face sure fucking hurts from hitting the sand."
