Nero doesn't finish his sentence, subsequently leaving the invitation more to implication than anything else. While Vergil's expression does not change all that much to grant Nero much insight into his feelings about the matter, he nods his agreement. There's the chance, of course, Vergil won't care for it in the end, and they both likely know that. But there is no harm in watching it if it's of interest to Nero, and it is something he wants to try to share with Vergil. Whatever Vergil can get, he will accept without any sort of complaint.

"I am not one for small talk," he says, more as acknowledgment that conversation is far from his forte, and to perhaps temper some of Nero's expectations. In other words, Vergil's lack of pelting him with questions as Nero had to Vergil on the way over to this place was not a reflection of a lack of interest. And indeed, there is a small pause before he tentatively asks, "Kyrie? She is your...?"

Far be it from Vergil to be interested in the gory details of his son's love life, but he would like to know the important people in his life all the same.
