"Oh, милая," Yelena is hushed now, probably the quiest Ava has ever heard her, carefully remaining still as she can on the out of focus moments and trying for little comforting strokes of her thumbs on the in focus ones. (She isn't even sure if that is the correct course of action, but it is what seems right.) It has been so long since she had cause or opportunity to comfort someone crying, and she is certain the rust must be evident, but it is too important to worry she is doing it wrong in this moment.

"It's okay. Make all the noise you like, Ava, it's okay. I have you." If she's tearing up again as well, oh well. No one but the two of them is ever going to know this happened, it's okay.
