Way I hear it, your brain kinda goes into overdrive decompressin' once you've actually got space to think about things. I don't think it's weird. And there was probably a whole element of, y'know, how close things came to bein' bad. [And then, you know, having time to grieve his whole extended family. Makes perfect sense to her.]
