Sometimes I think I was just born in the wrong time and place.” Really, Dex would have been perfectly fine if he had been born in ancient Rome and had become a gladiator or the Dark Ages and been able to raid with Vikings. He would have even been celebrated and admired for the accomplishment of how many people he could kill.

The problem was that his kind of brutal nature had no place in the modern era and so it was an eternal struggle for him to try and fit in.
