Perhaps that had been one of One's greatest weaknesses, considering the feelings of others beyond those she cared about. It was always hard to see such views when rage clouded her vision. Only when Zero had opened up during their last meeting did One start to consider her sister's views, albeit briefly. And only now when it affected it someone near her did she consider the effects her actions had on her brother. She wanted love and forgiveness no other could give. Yet what about the life he had to now lead?

But she did take Alluka's hand gently, giving a sad smile. "I don't quite think I can count my death as letting him go, but...hopefully the world I left behind can help him find something to live for."

And with that, the shades had faded, leaving Alluka and One at the table. One still worried for her kin, but she did genuinely hope her brother found some semblance of peace with her passing.
