I'm sorry. The more I hear about the Dathomiri, the more I wish there was something that could have been done.

I am not sure we would have accepted it honestly. We have good reason to not trust the Sith, Dooku was worse in many ways, and we and the Jedi are not friends. Other groups of Witches exist, but they are scattered through time and space.

But I long for my Sisters.

At least Merrin is here. If the two of you survived, there may even be others.

And... through Maul, I understand the Dark Side is part of your culture, and I understand what that means. I think... if we ever have the chance to meet back home, I would offer shelter at the very least.

The droids were quite thorough, evergreen back tracking weeks later to look for survivors.

And the only way off was by using their ships. Having Merrin survive astonished me. I can't believe many more would have been as fortunate.

I suppose you could say it is. We see our magicks differently, we don't call it Force, for instance. What you see as Dark Side would be what we called The Fanged God. There were clans who didn't honor him, but they were strange. Cousins more than siblings to us.

I would like to know more about your people, if you don't mind sharing.

I will consider it. It is not just my decision, after all. And you are not one of us as well as a man.

I understand, and I wouldn't try to force you either. Just with the Jedi gone, the Nightkin gone, with so much knowledge lost, I think I would like to try to chronicle everything I can, so it doesn't stay lost and forgotten.

We do have our own ways of presevring knowledge, some of them I've used. There are Temples my sisters and mothers used throughout the galaxy. Things our daughters will be able to find, as they will call to them.

I do appreciate the offer, truly. But it requires thought.
