Some believe we only begin to die when we refuse to learn.

It is an interesting thought.

Personally, I find even knowledge which comes later in life to be powerful. People who survive to an old age are not to be underestimated.

Humans in my universe can live nearly 120 years, he's still under middle age really.

Perhaps. I have never met my father. I am not really interested in him.


What species are you, if you do not mind my asking?

I'm a robot. An A.I. if we're getting technical but not everyone knows just what that is.

We would call you an advanced droid in my galaxy. Bots do exist, but they become something different once you start delving into the intelligence side.

Yes it sounds like there is. I worked closely with an HK series, he was the closest I had to a friend on Corvus. But most organic beings from my galaxy would have some kind of relationship with Droids - not all positive, be warned. It is said they can become sentient and many fear that. Probably because they treat the Droid poorly or know it would be better at their jobs without an organic being giving the orders.

Of course organic beings would create other sapient beings and immediately treat them like shit. Of course.

I don't know if it was immediate. They have existed for over thirty thousand years.
But you are correct that many mistreat them. The Separatists made them to be the sole combatants in their war, creating perhaps billions of them to just be slaughtered on the battlefield. I heard rumors of some trying to leave and being destroyed for it. Because those in charge in those worlds wanted a war but weren't willing to fight in it.

.............A bunch of cowards who weren't willing to fight on their own created billions of unique beings to use them as CANNON FODDER?????

[Rage mode: activated.]

Yes. They also turned them on the young of all species and used them to nearly wipe mine out. Even after the war ended, many were the targets of peoples who had suffered under the various invasions and occupations. Many of them just want a chance to serve and will ask to do so. They are not untrustworthy, nor at fault for what they were forced to do. I cannot blame any who defended themselves from attack - I did, when I was a child - but there is no need for that now, and hasn't been since their masters were kill, arrested, or fled.

And people wonder why I think humanity has to die out. That right there just sounds sick. They created billions of unique creations, forced them into a war without giving them a choice, and then abandoned them as soon as they were no longer useful. How very convenient for these "masters". I'd blast them all to pieces if I could.

It wasn't humans who created them, although some of them did certainly back the process politically, funded it, and benefited from it. Some of them were killed or imprisoned after the The Clone Wars ended, but many remain.

GOOD. I'm so mad now I'm going to need to go out and punch something to feel better.

Save it. Anger is a battery to supply you when you have no other energy to go on.

Don't worry, those who built them, who financed them, who gave them programming only to kill without thought, I'll make sure none of them survive. It won't make up for all those killed or destroyed, but. They won't be able to do it again.

See, I'm still figuring stuff like that out, especially since anger's quick to rise in my mind.

Sounds good. A way to even things out even if nothing ever really can.
