Welcome to Folkmore's Ten Things to Ten People meme!

Sometimes we all have trouble saying things we really want to say to people, or feel like there are reasons we shouldn't. But getting it off your chest can be good.

- Pick ten people (or however many you want, I'm not your boss) to write brief messages to them specifically. Negative or Positive. Post them, anon, or you're really brave, attached to a screen name.
- Do not say who they are meant for.
- Everyone is free to respond, or even guess for whom the message is intended.

1. I don't think this is how friendship is supposed to be. Everything I read here about others' relationships is reinforcing that.

There is no answer that exists that is not designed to do anything more than soothe the minds of those who could have done something and chose not to. It's pointless to ask. It changes nothing and only stirs resentment and anger.

By reason and intellect you may be right.

There are situations no one deserves but some must live through anyway.

Still we ask.

Depending on if you believe in karma, some do deserve it.

Jury's still out.

Not the kind that extends beyond a life. The soul is wiped clean when it returns to Hell.

Even if they end up being the same kind of bastard all over again in the next life there will be some early point where they don't deserve it.

I did get to ask one person, face to face. A friend of my birth parents'. He was afraid what happened to them would happen to him. Forgiving him was difficult.

Others - bad things happened to them, too. Or they just didn't know.

I could have stayed afraid of his answer, and never confronted him. Or held onto my anger, even after that.
