Welcome to Folkmore's Ten Things to Ten People meme!

Sometimes we all have trouble saying things we really want to say to people, or feel like there are reasons we shouldn't. But getting it off your chest can be good.

- Pick ten people (or however many you want, I'm not your boss) to write brief messages to them specifically. Negative or Positive. Post them, anon, or you're really brave, attached to a screen name.
- Do not say who they are meant for.
- Everyone is free to respond, or even guess for whom the message is intended.

I don't know if we can have children here, but I don't intend to have them with anybody else. And you didn't miss a wedding, either. Little has changed between us, except––Ezra came here before The Reckoning parted the sea. He didn't remember that we promised to stay together afterward. I don't know if you remember me telling you about it.

I did write one for you. It's further up the list.

The Patrons made us a path to our own worlds, and gave us keys so we could come back if we wanted. Mine was gone when I landed in Epiphany, along with all my bloodstone and anything sharp.

[blame the sea. or the blood mist or the cultists, or the pthumerians, there are a lot of choices. maybe even blame the fox, but vi isn't all that upset about it yet. it may bother her more as time passes, the lack of closure, even though it feels more distant than it should.

And so you do. She's pretty great. Because she serves a great Lady from a great House.

[there's the pun, just as it was. and she did learn to use the sword. she isn't the best, but she's not terrible. her teachers were good enough to make some impression, even if she couldn't stop staring at one of them.]

And should they show up, I'll protect King Robb, and all of House Stark and its banner people. Like Nymeria and Visenya, I will protect and defend the people I care about. I swear. ⚔️🍁

So they let you travel ...home and then gave you a way to come back to Trench if you wanted or needed to? And then you just ended up here without it? What's their beef with sharp things?

[they'd let her keep her boots but not her gauntlets. the boots have blades in them, the gauntlets were ...why is she trying to make any sense out of anything? she should know better.]

I like the weirwood leaves. Of course you and your kin have a place at my hearth and in my home, and I shall defend and provide for them the best that I am able.

I suppose they let me keep most of my sewing supplies. It was only my dragonglass dagger and the shears with sharp edges that were gone. Perhaps they don't want us fighting anyone right when we land. Or perhaps they don't have enough Lore to bring them over with us; I've noticed swords and daggers cost a lot more than clothes, and even ice skates, which have blades at the bottom.

i was hoping you would. there's a tree pun there too with the would/wood but im too lazy to make it. it would have been funny, i promise.

maybe you're right about the fighting, but they seem to be okay with sparring ??? or maybe it's a case by case basis because its not like they took my hands away. i keep trying to make it make sense and i should just sit back and let you do that.

I don't think they mind combat. There's a whole school for it. Perhaps they simply don't want us stabbing or shooting at the first people we see when we land. You could ask the Lady Fox; I don't know if she'd say for certain.

And you knew about Ezra, but I'm sorry you missed the outdoor skating in Never Fade. I can take you skating with me at the rink in Kuma Lisa, but they don't have drinking chocolate. I suppose we can find some afterward. Epiphany is full of nice things to eat. There's plenty to be found just on Luan Street where we live.

[she'd briefly been in it when she first met alayne in trench only to be lured back into the sea. and this seems to be a repeat performance, but it's not all bad. something to look forward to, she supposes.]
