Sometimes we all have trouble saying things we really want to say to people, or feel like there are reasons we shouldn't. But getting it off your chest can be good.

- Pick ten people (or however many you want, I'm not your boss) to write brief messages to them specifically. Negative or Positive. Post them, anon, or you're really brave, attached to a screen name.
- Do not say who they are meant for.
- Everyone is free to respond, or even guess for whom the message is intended.

[ Sharon wants to tell herself to slow down, that maybe she should enjoy the moment, but the rest of her is practically vibrating with excitement like a pot boiling over. A breath in, a breath out.]

I can't tell you how difficult it is for me to reign myself in here but... What if we took this moment to be engaged and plan a small ceremony together?

The biggest thing is that it has to happen during the day while you're outside of your bubble. [ Right now, she wants nothing more than to rush home and marry him on the spot. All she needs is him—nothing else matters. But even as that longing tugs at her heart, there’s a deeper desire to make it more than just a simple exchange of vows. She wants it to be special. Special beyond just their marriage. ] I might've found a way.

[ Mayerling knows how much Sharon is the type of person to act immediately once a decision is made. He is content to go along with it, to act quickly, should that make her happy. It's meaningful that instead Sharon slows them down to think and to plan. It takes his breath away that she not only means to grant his wish to spend time outside beyond his bubble but that she has found the means to do so. ]

Fiancé is a word of promise, of more to come, of possibility. [ One might even say potential. Mayerling does not out of consideration for Sharon's feelings and her dislike of any being controlling her life, even with so many liberties as Thirteen gives them. ] I too will make sure to use it.

Some extremely wealthy vampires in my world have sun shields, which still keeps one trapped behind a barrier and with less flexibility than my innermost wings grant me. This enchanted jewelry allows these vampires to walk in the sun with no barrier between them and the green grass, between them and feeling the soft petals of flowers still growing directly against the pads of their fingers, to feel the heat of the sun without bursting into flames? That is a remarkable feat, one I would not believe in my own world, as our civilization is on the decline, but I hope and pray is possible in someone else's.

[ Honestly, it feels like things can't get any better for her. Thirteen is sure to throw a wrench in that, but, for now, she's relishing this feeling. ]

It would be my pleasure to meet them both, for I would not be a stranger to any vampire in Folkmore, and the opportunity to walk in the sun is remarkable. If it is possible, it should be possible with Lore, even without her friend.

[ That removal of limitations is something Mayerling cannot help but appreciate about Folkmore and Thirteen. Anywhere else, they might be limited by the fact Elena's friend isn't here. Yet here, they are not. Here he will get to walk in the sun. ]

Rue might be capable of it as well from what I hear but I was going to rely on the Lore just to make certain it'll work for you. [ Sharon isn't willing to risk it no matter her confidence in Rue's abilities. ]

[ Mayerling considers but chooses to say nothing of the fact that relying on Lore means that Sharon chooses to trust in Thirteen to provide or not to interfere with whatever she purchases. There's no need to point out something that will only make Sharon's life more frustrating, especially not on this point, when it could lead to him walking outside in the sun, with nary a barrier around him. ]

I trust your judgment to select the best way forward, as I trust you with my life. Though you need not worry that an error here would cost me my life. It would not be the first time I have caught fire, nor likely the last.

I know, but I don't ever want to be the reason you burn. [ Beyond the love she bears for him, that isn't a sight she thinks she'd handle well. ]

Should that unlikely instance come to pass, I ask that you not hold yourself responsible. It will always be my choice what I do, and should I choose it, I have weighed the costs and found it worthwhile. You are worth far more than that passing pain, yet it is not a choice I would make likely and thanks to Thirteen am far less likely to need to make.

The only thing I can promise to do is try not to. [ Her emotions are volatile and have a tendency of getting away from her. ]

That is all we can ever do, but know I will be here and will reassure you afterward, should it happen. Despite that, I have no intention of injuring myself so and putting everyone else at greater risk.
