PANDORA'S FOX II

If you were here last June, do you remember that app that appeared on the relics then, Pandora's Fox? It's all about finding your Familiar bond. It's been available for people to use since every Star Child was forced to fill it out or have it filled out for them with its grand reveal. However, it's sat quietly in the background unobtrusive to those who didn't click to see what it was about.

Until now.

That's right, Pandora's Fox is back! (and with a makeover). The app has been rejiggered with old questions and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a Familiar bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

Familiar bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!

You can definitely get stronger. Baba Yaga is perfect for that, and I'm sure since it's so important, that you'll manage to remember when you go home. It's possible, I've heard, to remember.

Oh, I have attended Baba Yaga! I go with Luz sometimes. It's... an interesting school. Sometimes it feels a bit like home.

I've taken a few lessons on how to best be a Familiar, but I'm mostly at Kuma Lisa Academy. Gotta get through the basics first! Ooooh, your school must have been so interesting if it's like Baba Yaga.

I will 100%. I also always keep an adoption plushie on me, so it can guide me to family.

I suppose it was interesting. It's the only school I know, so it's normal for me! But I love learning magic, and that was my main reason for attending, so that counts.

Normal schools can be interesting! I'm not bored at Kuma Lisa. I just sometimes wish my classes were larger and we had more students. Magic, that's amazing! We don't have magic schools where I'm from.

Oh yes, I've adopted many people as my siblings. I love them all so much.

Maybe someday I'll give Kuma Lisa a try. Just to see what "normal" means for a human.

And that sounds wonderful! I envy you a little. I haven't seen my siblings for a long time now...

It is wonderful. I make sure to see my siblings all the time if I can. They're the most important part of Folkmore to me. Them and friends. The only things you really need in life!

Okay. I'm curious too! In another year or so, I might be ready to specialize myself, but I'm not entirely sure what I'd want to specialize in.

You do. It's so awesome being friends.

Ooooh. Okay. I really like stories, whether they're in books or movies or tv shows. I like helping people. I'm pretty decent at history? Not necessarily the memorizing part but understanding why things happened like they did.(I'm decent at that with people, but in real life in real time you have a lot less information to go on so it's harder).

If you enjoy stories and helping, why not write positive fiction? Most people love a good story, something with a nice moral at the end or a lesson to be learned. A tale of heroes! Good triumphing over evil! Being good at history will help you keep your details straight, too.

Not all stories need a happy ending, but I prefer them. I don't think I'd ever want to write a story with a super sad depressing ending. Life can be depressing, but it doesn't have to be! Just like stories. Oh, this is a great idea. I can totally pay attention in history class for worlds and times that would make a good setting for a story.

[ She's super excited. Stories were some of her closest friends for years. The idea she could make something like that herself is both daunting and inspiring. ]

All of that sounds wonderful. I love so many stories! If you write anything, I hope I can read it one day!

[That excitement is contagious. Amity might be more likely to have different career goals in the long run, but her interest in writing books of her own has been on the backburner for a long time now.]

Oh golly, I'll have to start and write loads of stories. Silly ones. Short ones. Sweet ones. Ones that get sad in the middle. I would be happy to share them with you when I finish one.

What are your favorite kinds of stories? [ Alluka could write a story FOR Amity. ]

I love stories about great heroes battling against dangerous villains. Stories about magic, and monsters, and a little romance. My favourite is the Good Witch Azura series!

[ Alluka nods as she listens. She could totally turn some of Big Brother's adventures into a story like that. Maybe make it about a couple of girls instead of boys, and the girls could fall in love as they save the world! Oh oh, and the villain could be stopped by the power of love and falling in love and no longer being a villain. That seems the best. ]

Oooh, I'll need to get that. I can ask for it now I've heard of it! I love how relics work like that.

[Which normally might be a hard thing to do, since she loves the series so much, but as Alluka said, it would be easily replaced with a lore purchase... still, there's something special about borrowing a favourite book.]

Thank you. I'm sure it won't be too long. When you read a book, you get sucked right in, and then it's after midnight and you haven't eaten or drunk or peed in hours and hours.

It's true! [A little crude, yet accurate.] That was how it was the first time I read Azura. I really couldn't put it down, and stayed up well past my bedtime.

Oh, I have done that before. I both do and do not regret it the next day. I mean, when the story is just so good, how are you ever supposed to stop? I go slower, usually, on rereads and pick up all kinds of things. [ No one enforced her bedtime once she was in her room. Alluka learned for herself, mostly. Some books still break through. ]

My parents usually made me regret it. But I'd only refrain until the next book in the series came out. [Adults can be the worst sometimes, controlling children! Huff.] I do enjoy that part of re-reads. Getting to the best parts, spotting things you missed...

What'd they do? Mine didn't do anything. I kept to my schedule because I thought it was important, but I'd usually try to add a nap sometime. Naps are good when I'm that tired. [ She liked her schedule, but Alluka isn't so rigid she wouldn't do anything to break it. Like when people visited? That was the best. The schedule could go out the window then! ]

I've reread almost all my books at least once. Well, at home. Here I read books for literature class, and I don't love all of them, so I don't reread those ones.
