PANDORA'S FOX II

If you were here last June, do you remember that app that appeared on the relics then, Pandora's Fox? It's all about finding your Familiar bond. It's been available for people to use since every Star Child was forced to fill it out or have it filled out for them with its grand reveal. However, it's sat quietly in the background unobtrusive to those who didn't click to see what it was about.

Until now.

That's right, Pandora's Fox is back! (and with a makeover). The app has been rejiggered with old questions and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a Familiar bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

Familiar bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!

I was honest. That’s all that was asked of me. This is a waste of my time otherwise.

You really think you're a legend because you're stubborn and emotional? I have a different view.

If temporarily being made a Familiar taught me anything, then yes, I know that’s exactly why. I’m too stubborn to compromise my ideals, even when it might be easier to do so.

One could argue being steadfast is what you want out of someone meant to lead others. That a strong heart and will carry those under his protection to safety or victory. Or both.

Having a gentle heart means that ‘stubbornness’ is not done out of cruelty. Besides you made a wonderful cat. It was very you.

[ Diluc is surprised by that— and then promptly embarrassed, the feathers on his wings ruffling and puffing up. He was an exceptionally sweet, affectionate cat with Kaeya. And also a very ornery and jealous one when his boundaries were crossed by strangers. ]

The point I am trying to make, D, is you are dedicated and anything you commit to benefits from your insights and what you bring to it.

Could things be easier if you bend more? Yes. But you are who you are. As honest as a sword. As wild as any other creature in the woods.

I don’t think I’ve really done anything deserving of that title. Surely you can easily say you’ve seen truer acts of heroism.

I've seen a lot of acts of heroism. That doesn't somehow make yours less. Heroism isn't a cake, Diluc. It's not like there's only so much to go around.

Follow Kaeya everywhere, huh? [ She sounds amused, though. ]

He’s been here longer than I have, so yes. I imagine he finds it amusing too, considering he used to follow me everywhere when we were boys.

He's never told me that little tidbit. It's kinda cute that the script is flipped here.

There was a time when Kaeya struggled alone with his own unhappiness and guilt, even though we were always together. We — I am doing everything to ensure he never has to go back to that.

[ Sharon is thoughtfully quiet. She knows bits and pieces of Kaeya's past, knows how he came to know Diluc, and all the secrets he had to keep; understands all the stress and loneliness and guilt he struggled with. She appreciates that Diluc's here. ]
