PANDORA'S FOX II

If you were here last June, do you remember that app that appeared on the relics then, Pandora's Fox? It's all about finding your Familiar bond. It's been available for people to use since every Star Child was forced to fill it out or have it filled out for them with its grand reveal. However, it's sat quietly in the background unobtrusive to those who didn't click to see what it was about.

Until now.

That's right, Pandora's Fox is back! (and with a makeover). The app has been rejiggered with old questions and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a Familiar bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

Familiar bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!

I choose these areas because: They are all quite lovely places to spend time in, with comfortable temperatures. I enjoy the peace I find there.

Regions/locations I avoid: Wintermute, Cruel Summer

I avoid them because: Well, I could tolerate them if necessary, but extreme temperatures are hard on these old bones, hmm?

I think I'm a Familiar because: Because I look terribly cute with soft lion's ears, of course!

Reasons I would form a bond: Deep trust and fondness. To feel closer to those I care for.

I've only once known someone whose lifespan approaches yours before I came to Folkmore. The centuries lived gave him a vastly different experience than our mere decades.

It warms me to see it can make someone kind, to think we can know people so long without becoming cynical and disappointed.

Ah, what an exceptionally kind thing to say.. thank you very much. Life can be difficult for anyone, no matter how long your lifespan may or may not be, but it is imperative that we do not lose sight of what is important.

Joy and sorrow exist in a balance. To become cynical would upset it, and I have no interest in being someone's bad memory.

You are most welcome. It is so easy to lose sight of the larger picture, whatever that means to us, in the moment and thus to act in a way contrary to our own beliefs. These trials have a way of putting those matters to the test.

I am an optimist myself that believes in change and progress.

So I have heard. I've not been here very long myself, this incident is my first brush with the Fox's trials.

I hope with all of my heart that you retain such optimism. It is a precious thing.
