PANDORA'S FOX II

If you were here last June, do you remember that app that appeared on the relics then, Pandora's Fox? It's all about finding your Familiar bond. It's been available for people to use since every Star Child was forced to fill it out or have it filled out for them with its grand reveal. However, it's sat quietly in the background unobtrusive to those who didn't click to see what it was about.

Until now.

That's right, Pandora's Fox is back! (and with a makeover). The app has been rejiggered with old questions and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a Familiar bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

Familiar bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!

Some people are born with abilities. I know a lot of telepaths.

But ain't that just another type of magic? Or is psychic power not magic power? And if it's not, I have a whole fanfiction in desperate need of editing!

Just natural power for some of us, just as normal as breathing. We're mutants. There's magic where I come from, too, but it comes from other places, not inside us like our abilities.

That still seems like magic to me but if you say it's not, well, I'm gonna listen to the person with the experience!

Magic isn't much of a thing where I'm from. Sure, there's the Darkness in the lake that takes over people's bodies and hunts others down but that feels like a unique circumstance limited to geography!

It's science. Like how some folks are born with a good singing voice.

You can take singing lessons. I don't think I can take telepathy lessons. But I get it. Genetics!

Oh, it's a huge thing but I don't think it's magic. I don't know what it is but it's awful!

That's true, but you're still not going to sing like someone born with it, and you can take telepathy lessons. You may not be able to send your thoughts around, but you can learn how to open your mind up, set up blocks, things like that.

You got an idea what it is?

Oh, I didn't know a normal person like me could learn to set up blocks. I might have to find someone so I can try!

It's something not of this world and it found a way into ours. At least, that's what some of the manuscript pages I've found seem to imply. The only thing I know for sure is that you can't be saved once you've been turned into a Taken, you just have to be killed.

They aren't perfect, but they help. Look around for a woman named Betsy Braddock. She's a powerful telepath and she'd be happy to help. I know, she's a friend of mine.

The story Alan is writing to defeat the darkness, of course! Oh, but I probably shouldn't be telling you about all of this. It's very hush-hush. He sends me messages in the clouds! And once in the bubbles of my bath!
