PANDORA'S FOX II

If you were here last June, do you remember that app that appeared on the relics then, Pandora's Fox? It's all about finding your Familiar bond. It's been available for people to use since every Star Child was forced to fill it out or have it filled out for them with its grand reveal. However, it's sat quietly in the background unobtrusive to those who didn't click to see what it was about.

Until now.

That's right, Pandora's Fox is back! (and with a makeover). The app has been rejiggered with old questions and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a Familiar bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

[ Sharon knows Kate likely won't. That's why, maybe every couple of weeks, the woman will find a note under the door of her bakery. It's just little notes of affirmation. Reminders she's a good person. ]

Only if you want to talk about it. Sometimes it's better out than in.

It feels less about not wanting to and more about not knowing how. [ She swallows the growing lump in her throat. ] I survived being burned alive when I was a kid. The kind of shit people aren't... shouldn't be able to survive. They'd rushed me to the hospital. My memories are really fuzzy and washed out but there was this nurse. She only stood out because I could see the red of her jacket against all the white of the room.

[ This is clearly difficult to discuss because Sharon makes a soft, pained sound and then huffs. ] I had powers and everything I'd gone through and sent them out of control. One day, she was checking in on me and I... I hurt her. Even though she was only there to help, I hurt her.

I wanted everyone to hurt like I did.

[ Oh, Sharon. ]

I think that, sometimes, when we've been hurt very badly, it's normal to want to lash out. It's not condonable but I think it is understandable.

[ Everyone in Folkmore is in dire need of therapy. ]

You were a kid. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself but I know that is easier said than done.

[ Sharon wants to bite her tongue, wants to swallow whatever truth that is desperate for release, but finds it difficult. More and more, it feels like she's lying to people she cares about. ]

...I never let her go. I hurt her and I changed her and I never let her go until I got my revenge. I might've been a kid when it happened but she was with me for decades in that hospital room. Always bleeding. Always sobbing.

Sharon, I'm so sorry that you go through that.

You should feel sorry for the nurse. [ Hi, hello, yes, Sharon doesn't feel like she deserves that sympathy. ]

Maybe but that nurse isn't here, it's just you that I'm concerned for.
