Somehow, there is kirin on you.
Most likely, it is the fur of the kirin that was caught in the environment of wherever you’ve been; there is a stray hair on you because one was on the seat you sat on upon the train or because it blew onto the brim of your hat in the wind.
Or it may be because you met the kirin—a playful ungulate moose-sized spirit who prefers not to speak—and engaged with him and gave him a pat, or a scratch behind an ear. Maybe the kirin nosed or licked your hand because you made him laugh (it’s an adorable ‘keh keh keh’ sound).
Unfortunately for both you and the kirin (who had not meant to trouble your day like this, truly), this exposure to his dander has only one reaction, and it happens to 100% of Star Children: you are compelled to tell the entire truth. About what is less specific; you are compelled simply to announce things about yourself—your life, experiences, thoughts, opinions, feelings. No matter if it’s something silly and inconsequential, deep or secretive, life-altering or commonplace. Some may choose to do this by employing Foxi and their relic; others by finding people to exchange truth with to face to face.
When you have met the kirin’s subconscious desire for four hours, you will be free from the truth telling and the recipient of 24 hours of good luck. The good luck will be sometime in the next year rather than in the next day, and you may have no idea where it came from, but you’ll know a lucky day when you have it!

Sure, other Devils hang out, some of them even mate, not that they can reproduce mind you, I guess they just do that for fun? I don't like other Devils, they're annoying and full of themselves. I don't want to hurt humans, they usually just want to eat them.
What do you suggest I do then? You seem nice, I doubt you have any trouble making friends. What's your secret?

I'm not you though. I'm just human. Being a Devil, born out of a concept, I can't really be confident that you think the same way I do. but if you're asking I guess perhaps you do?
There's two major paths I think of immediately. The first one would be to to find some way to neutralize the risk of that ability. I bet you could summon something with the spoon for that. Second would be to find a way to connect with people who are either immune to that effect somehow or talk with them through means which don't have contact.
Though I guess that second one doesn't fix wanting touch

I think I think like you do? I think about food and sleeping a lot. I also think about the sea and how I like feeling the sand in my toes. Is that something a human would think about?
Really? You think there's something my spoon can do to help? But doesn't that just mean that I'd have to interact with people first to fill it up? That puts me back in my dilemma. Don't wanna hang out with them if I can hurt them, can't get Lore if I don't hang out with them.
What would make someone immune? Like a special power that gives them unlimited life?
Yea I don't want much. Just like someone to pet my head now and then. Maybe hold my hand or hug me. Hugging looks warm.

But I do yeah. The spoon can be used to summon any number of things. You'd need to converse with people for a while to build up to that point, but it could be from over the Relic, perhaps? Or at a distance?
But yes, I was thinking along those lines. Or someone who simply doesn't age at all.

It's the distance part thats getting me down. Doesn't feel real. Like, we're talking now but if a friend comes to where you are physically, you'll stop talking to me to be with them, you know what I mean?

I get that; the distance. For me, having this machine is something I'm only just starting to get used to again; have it feel normal. I was obsessed with it when I first arrived here, because its most similar to something I remember when I was a kid. So I was taken with it and stalking it all the time.
But even so, face to face is better. In person, hearing and feeling people. You're right I'd always set it down.
I get accused to talking fast a lot.
I don't know. I've seen amazing powers here and in the realms I came from. I've seen people or things which are basically immortal to the standards of a human. They could afford to lose some years as compared to the rest of us. It wouldn't surprise me if there was someone timeless here.
Actually wait I did see one guy back during that dating thing they were a real angle supposedly. And some people with really big age numbers?

Or at least that's how I'd think of it.
When I first arrived I wandered around this whole land we're in. Seeing the different environments. I guess I was just hoping if I understood the land I'd understand the realm. Didn't manage much, but during that time this device had me talk with anyone else while I'm out in say the mountains.

That's what I'm trying to do- or well, I was hoping to try and do, I'm lazy, I'm used to being lazy so I didn't get very far at all. I don't want to understand this place though, I just want to be near the sea. I like being at the beach, I don't know why. I think I was happy in the sand once upon a time. Ah, I get it, you used this thing to keep connected, so you weren't truly alone while out here? That's smart. I would have loved this device back home. That way, they could have kept me in my cell and I could have still made friends.
