PANDORA'S FOX III

The application Pandora's Fox, last seen buzzing on everyone's relics in October, is back. It's about finding your Familiar bond or perhaps other kinds of bonds. It could be the start to finding your soul mate, a new family member, or other kind of someone special. The point is connection. While it's always available, it's gotten loud again.

As part of its return, the app has been rejiggered with questions old and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

Bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!

i grew up on earth, but after the world pretty much ended. so there wasn't really anything anywhere. when i first got here, everything was new, so i had a million questions

i've been here about a year and a half now, so i've learned so much since i got here. oh, i do like to ask a couple of things:
1) what's your favourite food?
2) what's a kind of media you like? (a show or book or movie etc)
3) what's a hobby or game you think is fun?

i've never done much archery, and i'm so-so with swords, but they're both cool. have you ever used a crossbow?

i've tried crossbows a couple of times because my auntie used them. i'm building one now so i've been looking into how to learn better, so i can test it out. never used a regular bow and arrow either

Long story, but short version? Where I come from, people who aren't normal, people with powers or who aren't human, aren't treated very well.

i'm not a fan of agrona, it's so hot... but if no one else knows, that might be the way to do it. maybe i'll ask around first :P

I don't mind. I'm psychic. I can animate things i draw, paint, or sculpt.

[He flips the feed to video and sets up the relic on a table that looks to be covered in random paint splotches. There are canvases on the walls you can see from the camera angle, a lot of stark lines, dark colors, but Xavier, hair pulled back in a low tail, waves slightly with charcoal-smudged fingers and opens a sketchbook to a photo-realistic charcoal drawing of a death's-head hawkmoth, and then raises his free hand to hover over the image for a moment. A look of concentration creases his brow and then the moth seems to fold, fill, become three-dimensional and take flight from the page, flitting about the room.]

[Casey watches with interest, his eyes widening at once as the moth separates from the paper and begins to fly. His expression shifts to one of obvious delight.]

Whoa, whoa! That's amazing! You made it fly! It's so cool!

[This kid looooves magic. He's easily impressed, but at least he's earnest.]

What's the best thing you've ever used it for?

I'm still...working on using it for something useful. Mostly it's just entertainment. You know, animating a cello player with sound, or...making moths fly. I figured out I can animate things I build, too, though, so that'll come in handy. Once I figure it out.

It's okay for it to just be for fun. It's still cool! Being able to animate built objects would be amazing, too. Is it only stuff that you create, or could you learn how to do it with other stuff too?

I've only tried it with stuff I've made, and...other things don't...feel the same? That's probably weird.

Not that weird. Everybody's got their own focus.

Yeah, that's true, and maybe that's part of my power, you know? I have to make it to move it.

That makes sense. I mean, as much sense as magic ever makes, I guess. Sometimes it's like, where did that even come from! And there's no logic to how it works. That's the kind of magic that really drove my uncle crazy.

Well, mine isn't magic. I'm just psychic, but magic's usually logical, it just follows rules not everyone knows.

Oh. I think it kind of depends on how you define magic? Because when someone says they're psychic and can move stuff with their minds, that's magic to me.

See, I define magic as...something that uses magic energy, not psychic energy.

I didn't know there was a difference. Psychic energy sounds magical still...
