PANDORA'S FOX III

The application Pandora's Fox, last seen buzzing on everyone's relics in October, is back. It's about finding your Familiar bond or perhaps other kinds of bonds. It could be the start to finding your soul mate, a new family member, or other kind of someone special. The point is connection. While it's always available, it's gotten loud again.

As part of its return, the app has been rejiggered with questions old and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

Bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!

[ It isn't really an answer. A willingness to go along if Wolfwood wants to... but it's a psychic connection of some kind. It's personal and close and something that's their choice. ]

Guess it's habit for me. Keeping secrets meant staying alive in the Eye of Michael. Not saying I'm trying to keep secrets. It just happens.

I don't think I'm keeping secrets, but there's probably things I forget to mention. I don't know, I've been alive a long time. [ Time gets kind of weird for him. ]

Yeah, lets do that. That's better than this screen nonsense. [ Vash in person is more overwhelming sometimes, but Wolfwood isn't doing stuff like this over the relics. Especially not if he's gonna spill the big one. ]

You've got a lot to tell me about those hundred and some years. I'd like to hear the stories. Can't say I have lots of good stories, but I have stuff to tell you too. [ Because he's lived a lot shorter a life than Vash might think. ]

The powers you were born with do not define what you can bring into the world. Whatever destruction you're capable of, Vash, you clearly don't have any interest in causing it.

No, but it doesn't matter. Sooner or later, something always happens. This is probably the longest I've stayed put since I was a kid. It's lucky the Fox didn't think she should bring Nai here. No one would be safe if she did.

It's almost like you're not the problem in the equation, Vash.

The problem is I haven't stopped him because I don't want it to come to kill or be killed. That's not going to be good for anybody. I might be able to restrain myself, but he won't.

Do you really think others wouldn't be able to kill him? Or that Thirteen would let him wreck havoc?

[ There's a pause, but his answer is definitive. ]

[ She scoffs ] He's not a god, Vash. He's not all-powerful.

I think underestimating him would be a bad idea. He's not a god, but he certainly thinks he is.

Cocky and powerful, big whoop.

I know there's a good reason you're worried, Vash, but I don't think you have to worry about him here. Between all the powerful people, including yourself, and Thirteen, I think Knives would be effectively neutered.

I really hope you're right, but more than that, I'd really keep hoping that Nai doesn't come to begin with. We don't need to find out one way or another.
