PANDORA'S FOX III

The application Pandora's Fox, last seen buzzing on everyone's relics in October, is back. It's about finding your Familiar bond or perhaps other kinds of bonds. It could be the start to finding your soul mate, a new family member, or other kind of someone special. The point is connection. While it's always available, it's gotten loud again.
As part of its return, the app has been rejiggered with questions old and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!
Bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!
This is game canon!

And at first, we started out quite small, likely younger than you. However, our bodies rapidly matured when we needed more power, and kept us in those older years so we would be in peak physical condition. My situation is a bit more complex though, considering I still appear as if I were a teenager.

I have read about the idea of species memory, and genetic memory being passed on. What you're describing sounds different though since it's memories of yourself and a life you didn't live. Having more memories than two years does make age feel that much more complicated, even given what else you say.
Did your minds grow with your bodies? Like, you're a teenager in mind and body, even if not in age age? You've always felt like someone of a similar to age to me, even if you are two. I'm glad you're a teenager, even if it sounds like that's not usual for your family.

I would assume so, yes, though experience still plays an important part. Being responsible for my sisters and then a country forced me to mature, much to the chagrin of Gabriella.
[That said, if Alluka's theory was correct, it would explain why One found herself a new hyper fixation in arcade games...]
At the same time, I have seen many so-called adults act the same way as children in my world while being spoiled, so it's difficult to confirm anything.

Even those of us who grow at a predetermined rate are affected by experience. Oh and cultural expectations. So few people here consider it normal for twelve years olds to travel on their own in the world, and that's pretty standard in mine. (Sorry, Gabriella, I know One still loves you).
Oh, yeah, age doesn't guarantee everything. That life experience again. As much as we use age as a shorthand for it much of the time, it only goes so far. People, we're complicated.

[And last time required a lot of trauma and physical exertion on her end against a world-ending threat....she kinda wanted to avoid that, given recent events with her feelings.]
It's funny. I was used to seeing humans as simple to figure out. But those were spent in days when fear, hatred, or greed gripped tightly to their souls.

[ Is it selfish to want a friend to stay near her in some kind of age? Maybe, but Alluka likes having friends her age. One may be two years old, but she acts like Alluka's age. They feel similar, even while they're very different. ]
In stressful situations, people don't get to be their full selves. I don't believe it'd be fair to call that someone's true self. Our true selves are our complete selves, and that's only a part of it.
