Pandora's Fox III

PANDORA'S FOX III

The application Pandora's Fox, last seen buzzing on everyone's relics in October, is back. It's about finding your Familiar bond or perhaps other kinds of bonds. It could be the start to finding your soul mate, a new family member, or other kind of someone special. The point is connection. While it's always available, it's gotten loud again.

As part of its return, the app has been rejiggered with questions old and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

Bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!

This is game canon!

Forms for your characters!

Exactly. I'm REALLY good at throwing things.

[Not as impressive in a world like theirs with literal gods and super soldiers and witches able to literally warp reality running around but Dex was proud of his particular talents.]

I also picked up a bunch of them so I could use them for something like a bunch of little flechettes if I wanted to.

[Marc would love to see some asshole get hit in the neck with a teeny tiny knife just wrong and bleed out. He knows that's crazy and weird, but... MAN. That's like something straight out of an action movie.]

How good are you? Could you hit a fly in mid-air from across the room?

Oh yeah. Definitely that good. I could pin it to the wall with a straightened out paper clip if I wanted to.

[Dex underplayed his abilities a little bit when speaking about them but only because "I'm really good at throwing things" didn't sound all that impressive until it was actually seen in action. But he really did have an uncanny talent that stayed just on the right side of physics and which 99.9999999% of the population could never hope to emulate.]

[That sounds insanely cool to Marc, and now he kinda wants to see it.]

What if it's hiding around a corner? Can you throw stuff with a curve like it's a boomerang?

[Dex would have been more than happy to give a demonstration. He liked showing off.]

Only if what I'm throwing actually is a boomerang. I'm good but I'm not THAT good. And contrary to what that one movie portrayed, you can't actually curve bullets. What I can do is ricochet them instead so that they can bounce off of something and hit whatever is behind the corner instead.

I was thinking of the paperclip again to be honest. But ricocheting a bullet is really cool too. That's a real precise art, especially when the bullet isn't made of steel. I could never really manage it myself.
