Pandora's Fox III

PANDORA'S FOX III

The application Pandora's Fox, last seen buzzing on everyone's relics in October, is back. It's about finding your Familiar bond or perhaps other kinds of bonds. It could be the start to finding your soul mate, a new family member, or other kind of someone special. The point is connection. While it's always available, it's gotten loud again.

As part of its return, the app has been rejiggered with questions old and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

Bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!

This is game canon!

Forms for your characters!

It's hard to imagine being otherwise. There's so much I want to do and see! And I want to spend time with people I care about and make more friends and... well, what do you want? What is enough for you?

Not everyone has to do all of them, which is good I think. Sometimes people need a break. Sometimes they really need that specific trial. Have you been punished for not doing a trial? I don't think I have, but I generally run right into them for the adventure.

That's good. It's a good feeling everyone should get to experience. All the better with a plushie or a friend to hug too.

I can't think of anything I've ever wanted more than to explore all the ruins of my world, and to make it so that humans and seraphim can live side by side. Any other goal I worked towards has been to protect or ensure that dream.

I've not been punished for missing trials, unless a lack of reward counts. I suppose it means I'm no closer to my potential, however she might define that, but I'm in no hurry.

It's good to have your goals! You could be a Hunter in my world, a ruins hunter, and you'd be able to enter any country in the world to do that work! There aren't seraphim in my world, I don't think, but I'd be happy to explore ruins with you in it should you wind up visiting my home.

Some of the rewards are good, and I'm glad to have them. Even if they aren't useful to me, I can always share them with friends. I'm not worried about achieving my potential too quickly. I'm so young I have to have near endless potential.

I think I'd enjoy a job like that. "Ruin Hunter". Most seraphim don't have jobs. Technically speaking, mine is "sub-lord", although I was considered retired before arriving here. And I'd love to visit any ruins on any world, should my path lead me there.

It's true, you're quite young for a human. You have at least, what, eighty or ninety years or so? Even if it's a very short time, you don't have to rush it.

It doesn't automatically pay the way assassin does, but there's lots of ways to make a living as a Hunter. Probably even as a Ruin Hunter. Countries wanting to track down and preserve their history or finding legendary items. Or if you don't need money, do whatever you want! Well, if we wind up on mine, I'll happily show you some. It's part of what I was doing anyway when I came here.

I am. I'm not in a rush, but getting older has its advantages. There's more Star Children near my age, I think. Or will be. So many of the teenagers have gone home, including friends of mine, which makes little sense to me. Surely they still have potential. Also, I'll have you know my family lives very long lives. My great-grandfather is still alive and working!
tsunergy: (smile) (but you're not alone)

I don't really need money. Food and shelter are optional for seraphim, most of us prefer to sleep outside in nature. And we eat food because it's good, not because we're hungry. Anyway, exploring ruins usually nets us treasure. That's reward enough. You were a ruin hunter before coming to this world as well?

It is strange, how people seem to come and go at random in this place. I have a feeling Thirteen either lacks the control she claims, or she likes to keep her messaging inconsistent for some unknown reason. Regardless, I'm sorry for your lost friends. You should meet Sorey if you haven't already. He's still young, and he'd like you.

Oh, wow, that really helps with not having people trying to get things. Humans need so much! And beyond our basic needs, we want to have fun and enjoy life. I'd be really sad to go without my plushies and books now that I've collected them back up. I only had one plushie from home when I arrived. And I wasn't a hunter! My brother's one, and we were adventuring together to see the world! Anything exciting and new. Including ruins.

I don't understand it, but whether Thirteen is being honest or not, she's definitely keeping a lot of information to herself. Only tells us what she thinks we need to know. Thank you, I miss them and will hold them dear in my heart even if we never see each other again. Oh, I will come meet him! How young is young?
tsunergy: (smile) (well thankfully)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2025-07-05 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
The fun and the enjoying-life parts aren't unique to humans, at least. We seraphim find fulfillment in such things as well. Adventures with a sibling sounds like a great time. Would you want to be a hunter as well?

Sorey is 17. Older, but still with plenty of growing to do. He's got too much youthful energy.

Oh, of course, I wouldn't assume as much. I just wasn't sure if we'd find enjoyment in the same things. Even humans often don't. I'm still considering what I want to be in time, and I'm not sure hunter is the right fit. You're always supposed to be hunting something, and I believe downtime is good for me. I also, to be honest, don't have some of the skills you need to be a hunter. Or... talent. I could work on skills, if they were worth it, but not talent. Not that I want to work on all the skills. Fighting hasn't ever interested me. I don't want to hurt other people.

That's only a couple years older! Cloooose to my age. Yes, I must meet him!
tsunergy: (smile) (whatever shall i do.)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2025-07-18 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
Is there a time limit on deciding that sort of thing? Many humans tend to be in a hurry to get things done due to shorter lifespans, which makes sense. But there are plenty who change their career and dreams well into their middle ages and beyond.

I'll let him know. I'm sure he'd be glad to meet you.

[personal profile] tooawesome 2025-07-19 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmmm, I don't think there's strictly a time limit. My family members all were trained from a really little age to be assassins, and Big Brother already changed careers to be a Hunter. It's possible! I just want to get going. I'm doing all these general studies, and they're good don't get me wrong. I want to do thing! That includes career! Even if I change my mind later, I want to do things now.

Oh yayayay, thank you!
tsunergy: (smile) (shall i help you find something else?)

[personal profile] tsunergy 2025-07-19 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Interesting. Well, I should say "there's no rush", but obviously there's no harm in trying things when you're young, since you can just switch what you do later. So I wish you luck with all of your studies.

You're welcome. I have no doubt it'll do him good, too.

[She has the kind of energy Sorey will like. Plus, he could always use more human friends.]

In general there isn't. In Folkmore, we never know when we'll go home, and we might not remember things. So... there's a little bit of a rush. Thank you! You can change things too if you ever decide you want to.

Very true. Seraphim don't change easily, we're very set in our ways, especially as we get older. But I like how humans change, so maybe one day I'll give it a try.

I appreciate your insight.
