[Vergil's attention moves back to Kyrie when she speaks again, asking about his time spent in Wintermute. He manages not to flush immediately, but he shifts a little in his seat.]

Oh, I, um... I am in Wintermute for at least a day or two each week. [He clears his throat a little and averts his gaze. Vergil has to forcibly not attend to how warm his face feels now.] My... Lover. Lives there.

[Vergil still stumbles over what to label Mizu as being to him for the benefit of others to understand. Neither Mizu nor Vergil have really found a satisfactory term and so often avoid labeling what they are even within the private space between them. But that's the closest term he has, and he's used it before with Mizu directly. It's certainly less clunky than "more than friends" that he's used with Dante and Nero, and doesn't feel odd to describe as "dating" as Nero puts it.]

Mizu prefers the climate and privacy of Wintermute, but he stays at the house as well. [Vergil glances at Kyrie ever so briefly.] He brings Dante pizza rolls and occasionally trains with Nero one-on-one.

[So, yes, the relationships between Mizu and Vergil's family started because of Vergil, but Mizu has made her own efforts from there. Things that Vergil has had no real influence or input upon. Vergil doesn't and wouldn't go so far as to say Mizu is necessarily part of the family (that's not up for him to decide), but neither is she rejected or kept separate from that part of Vergil's life either.]
