[It's funny how something so run of the mill and ordinary as holding hands with her boyfriend should be such a novel experience. The disappearance of the wing is as startling as its initial appearance, but it probably says something about how weird the circumstances surrounding their relationship have been when she accepts it as another one of those things she'll need to adjust to.

That, or have a meltdown about it all later, but she's remarkably well adjusted to these things by now. (Or desensitized. One of the two.)

But one thing that will always, always get a reaction from her is the way Nero self-consciously rubs his nose. It never fails to charm her that he still gets embarrassed and flustered around her, so she beams warmly and presses her arm against his as she leans against him fondly, squeezing his hand again as an extra measure.]
