Wait. Mystery alcohol with a worm inside?! No thanks. I know too much about tape worms for that to ever be appealing.

The Prancing Pony seems to be where everyone drinks. It's good and kind of quiet.

The Tides is where the party is from what I've heard.

I haven't found a dive yet that reminds me of home. So, Prancing Pony usually is where I end up.

They don't have dive bars here? That's a shame. Dive bars are some of my favorite places.

It's for really bad times or really big celebrations.

Yes, Josie's is a dive in Hell's Kitchen. The only place me and my partner could afford to drink when we started our law firm.

We keep going though.

It's hard to want to try a new place when you've found a spot that works for you.

Must be nice to have a dive bar to call your own.

Only because of the memories it holds.

You don't have a bar? I thought all cops, firefighters, and EMTs had bars.

Any place that holds good memories is worth holding onto, in my opinion.

Well, there are a good amount of badge and ladder joints around the city but my house doesn't really have anywhere specific we like to go; we usually just pick a bar for the night.

Kind of jealous of this Josie's of yours.

I'd offer to take you but that's not possible here.

We could start trying to find dive bars together.

That's a shame because I feel like I'd really like to experience Josie's for myself.

But I like that idea! I at least owe you a beer for all the times I've overlooked you in the library.
