For advertising, yes. And no, the club technically isn't an official club.

The club is what's being advertised, Haruhi thinks it'll draw the types she's interested in.

I mean, while I'm sure all those exist in one universe or another, and definitely exist here, I can't see them coming out of the woodwork for a bunch of teens dressed up as bunnies. I know I sure as hell wouldn't.

None. I'm the lucky normal one. [Even though he has gone back in time and been the catalyst for events that lead to his world being the way it is, by being John Smith, he still considers himself normal.]

That... Depends on who you ask, actually. [Because the ESPers think of Haruhi as "god" after all, but reality warper also fits too.]
