Try to hold onto that feeling when you fall asleep. It becomes easier to tell when you are in a dream if you can.

When you end up in the room with the killer again, focus on changing the surroundings. It will be too much at first to completely shift the landscape so start small. Imagine a weapon in your hands or the killer in chains. A small detail that will make a lot of difference.

My dreams are very vivid at times because I possess the power of Force visions. I can see the future when I sleep sometimes.

Like looking into a dark room through a keyhole and the room is only illuminated by a single candle.

So very focused? Or like, there's only a little bit visible and maybe you're not even sure how to interpret it?

The latter rather than the former. You can never tell if what you see is destined to come to pass or just one possibility of many. If trying to interfere will stop it from happening or cause it to be a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you're a vital part of the equation or have no influence whatsoever.

Well, that doesn't sound very useful.

Then again, I suppose if people could see the future clearly, there would be no point in doing anything.

It's not. It's also the only part of my powers I've never been able to fully control, which makes it all the more frustrating when I see events I cannot influence.

How do you deal with that?

I try to change the worst things I see and learn to live with the rest. I don't sleep well on nights when I get them. They come and go. Sometimes I'll go years in-between them and sometimes they last for weeks on end.
