Ten Things to Ten People

Ten Things to Ten People

[An anonymous post appears on the Folkmore network:]

Welcome to Folkmore's Ten Things to Ten People meme!

Sometimes we all have trouble saying things we really want to say to people, or feel like there are reasons we shouldn't. But getting it off your chest can be good.

- Pick ten people (or however many you want, I'm not your boss) to write brief messages to them specifically. Negative or Positive. Post them, anon, or you're really brave, attached to a screen name.
- Do not say who they are meant for.
- Everyone is free to respond, or even guess for whom the message is intended.

[[OOC: This meme is IC. Ten messages not required, that's just the traditional meme name. And, as always, memes can be game canon, if you decide you them want it to be!]]

The loss of one's kin is an ache felt deeply, a wound reluctant to heal. Three decades on, the deaths of my Mother and Sisters stabs just as fresh. You must have been younger than I was. That's too young to be alone.

[three decades? that doesn't sound like the user she spoke with....sansa doesn't think she said she lost her mother, but perhaps she misunderstood.]

That's very kind. I was very young when I was separated from my family, though not as young as some who share my fate. I'm sorry to hear you've lost your kin as well. It's my hope that they might join us here someday.

[ Oh right she was a teenager then. But Morgan had assumed the girl's mother was dead, due to using past tense when she spoke of them. ]

Merrin was younger than I, but we were both children. One of our Sisters was little more than a toddling kit when she was sent out, just her and her mother. I couldn't imagine a fate so lonely, and in truth, I don't want to.

I've found a Sister and a Brother here, more than I imagined having again. I hope yours is able to find you here. Humans do slightly better than Nightkin do without our Clans, but from what I have seen, not much.
