PANDORA'S FOX II

If you were here last June, do you remember that app that appeared on the relics then, Pandora's Fox? It's all about finding your Familiar bond. It's been available for people to use since every Star Child was forced to fill it out or have it filled out for them with its grand reveal. However, it's sat quietly in the background unobtrusive to those who didn't click to see what it was about.

Until now.

That's right, Pandora's Fox is back! (and with a makeover). The app has been rejiggered with old questions and new, including some specific to each Role! The app will buzz and open itself with a blank profile waiting to be filled out. Star Children can fill it out for themselves—as long as they don't lie. This app will not allow Star Children to lie. Honesty is important in a Familiar bond. Star Children who lie may find that answer filled in a little too honestly and unable to be deleted. Anyone who waits too long to fill it in will find it answered for them!

Familiar bonds come in all different shapes and sizes, so find the right person for you!

Seems the perfect time to start thinking about it. [ Given the nature of Folkmore, there are more than just humans available for companionship. Though, the whole not noticing thing might require a little work (Sharon gets it, she's the same). ]

I don't suppose my companion I got in a trial long ago counts? [ that she also named Gil. Because that was a healthy choice. ]

A rather one sided one. [ She chuckles. ] There are a few people here whose company I enjoy. Though who really knows if they enjoy mine as well.

Given what your profile says about King Fucking Arthur, I'm not surprised you can't tell when people enjoy your company. If you enjoy someone's company, chances are they enjoy yours too. Honestly, there's nothing not to enjoy about your company, Thena.

We were fighting Deviants, I can hardly be blamed for being more focused on that than other things. He was a good leader, a strong combatant, but that was our focus.

Beyond that, Sprite only claims it! Perhaps it's not even true.

No, I can't say that I ever noticed either way. I don recall he was quite competent with his sword though

A part of it. I also admired how much he cared for the men he led. [ She pauses for second before adding, a bit more hesitantly: ]

The most attractive thing about Gil was his kindness and strength of heart. He was good and gentle. And an excellent baker.

So many people miss out on how hot a kind man is, bonus points if he's good with his hands. Sure, a handsome guy is great, but if there's nothing under the surface, what's the point?

I couldn't agree more. Perhaps kindness is the quality I rank s the most attractive in a partner. I would say it certainly balances me out. I wouldn't say I'm unkind, but I was revered as a goddess of war for a reason. [ A singular focus on violence and battle; on the mission. With very few thoughts towards anything else. ]

Where I'm from, we call that being badass. You're not unkind, but anyone with eyes can see there's something sharp about you. Powerful. [ And Gil, as far as she understands him, is the perfect balance to that. ] A partner that balances that is important.

Badass, hmm? I can take that. [ She sounds very amused by it. ] It is, particularly with some of my....issues. [ Which happen to be her number two biggest issue with he idea of finding someone. ]

Maybe. It could be the chaos, the way Folkmore outside is falling apart. It is a bit apocalyptic and that might be triggering.

[ Sharon can't say she likes the idea of Thena being out there, alone. She knows the Eternal can handle it, she's handled it for a long time now, but things are especially rough right now. ]

Though I appreciate it, you don't need to worry. I'm not even certain if there's many here who could truly do to stop me. Which makes alone far safer.

[ She doesn't respond for a bit. ] If you promise not to hesitate to defend yourself with all you have should worse come to worse then...I won't mind some company.

I promise, Thena. [ As much as she would hate it, Sharon is well prepared to end the life of someone she loves—but only because she knows it would kill them to realize what they'd done in the throes of ptsd or bloodlust. ] Where can I find you at?

[ Sharon reaches the orchard swiftly, her coyote form lending her speed and stealth. Like every person she’s come to know, Thena has a scent all her own—distinct, undeniable—and it guides Sharon unerringly through the rows of trees. She moves silently, slipping between trunks and over gnarled roots until she catches sight of the Eternal’s familiar silhouette.

A soft bark escapes her as she steps closer, announcing her presence gently before shifting back into her human form. Her molten-gold eyes linger, a reminder of the creature just beneath her skin. ]
