Somehow, there is kirin on you.

Most likely, it is the fur of the kirin that was caught in the environment of wherever you’ve been; there is a stray hair on you because one was on the seat you sat on upon the train or because it blew onto the brim of your hat in the wind.

Or it may be because you met the kirin—a playful ungulate moose-sized spirit who prefers not to speak—and engaged with him and gave him a pat, or a scratch behind an ear. Maybe the kirin nosed or licked your hand because you made him laugh (it’s an adorable ‘keh keh keh’ sound).

Unfortunately for both you and the kirin (who had not meant to trouble your day like this, truly), this exposure to his dander has only one reaction, and it happens to 100% of Star Children: you are compelled to tell the entire truth. About what is less specific; you are compelled simply to announce things about yourself—your life, experiences, thoughts, opinions, feelings. No matter if it’s something silly and inconsequential, deep or secretive, life-altering or commonplace. Some may choose to do this by employing Foxi and their relic; others by finding people to exchange truth with to face to face.

When you have met the kirin’s subconscious desire for four hours, you will be free from the truth telling and the recipient of 24 hours of good luck. The good luck will be sometime in the next year rather than in the next day, and you may have no idea where it came from, but you’ll know a lucky day when you have it!

Just not right now, because you'll have to tell the truth. I really don't want to think too much about him but now I can't stop thinking about him and he's still going to die.

I'm supposed to be in your timeline. In mine I might stay this size, and then I'm going to have to change some of my evil plans. Though there was that incident with the summer fae, I was tall enough then to hit my head on the roof beams of my house.

Which isn't saying much they're made for short people.

Do you think if I stay small I have those future evil plans, will they need modifying thanks to being short? I feel like destroying the world is size agnostic. I don't intend to, but that's another one of those things I can't help thinking about.

Jenova could be on a tall shelf. I'll have to climb my way to victory, one step stool at a time. I think I might have, some, since I did need to acquire some new clothing, most of my old doesn't really fit anymore. And is full of holes.

What eight foot long sword? Why would anyone want a weapon that big? You wouldn't be able to use it anywhere but in a field!

I spent most of my life on that floor, though it seems as if I was especially lucky to not be involved in dog fucking.

Have you ever tried flying indoors? I haven't quite gotten the knack of hovering, besides.

No. Is this a thing I suddenly have to be concerned about. I like my current weapons just fine.

its not easy but jenova's usually stored in huge rooms so you'd be fine

I have encountered no such weapon as yet, just an assortment of ordinary katana. When you say huge do you mean on the scale of weapons Cloud uses or..

It had to have been worth SOMETHING if it could withstand SOLDIER strength at least. I suppose it'll depend on how much in the future is fixed and how much I can put aside as irrelevant. I think I could be an appropriately annoying powerhouse with most any weapon.

The sword forged for me here is a 'cool weapon' and I am not giving it a name. It's better than anything Shinra's produced though.

I probably missed some critical moment of childhood where giving names to swords is very important. Probably because they break so easy half the time. Cheap materials, even the P0s can break them. I'd name one Nidhogg or something and then snap, I gotta get Nid 2.

I feel like you might have mentioned that name before but mostly it eludes me. Maybe I saw it somewhere. Not sure. Do things get busted with it or is it mostly decoration, I never really know. Sorry, not decoration. 'Ceremonial'.
