oh i'm not qualified to speak for my whole world on that one. BIG debate. LOTTA politics.
bending doesn't feel like magic to me personally! but i'm an earthbender. like if i lost my bending i'd lose part of ME because it's always been part of me. and the world.

It was an unreasonable question when it comes to those matters that are outside our control—I am well aware. Your best is all and the utmost I could expect from you. I admit, I wonder how being a Sleeper and perhaps even a Role might affect how long you can live, and should it make you live longer, I do appreciate that. How much of death in Folkmore is Folkmore versus a Role?

Most monsters back home didn’t eat people. They just wanted to kill. But not him. Leonard... he still had some of his faculties, I think. He picked me up—was gonna take me to his daughter. Or maybe lock me in one of the asylum rooms to be tortured. [ It could’ve gone either way, but she’s pretty sure he meant to take her to the sanctuary to be ritualized. ]

I managed to rip something out of his chest before he could, though. He just... collapsed into dust. [ That had been luck. Truthfully, she’s had a lot of luck. ] Do the people the Krang get ahold of end up all weird like the subway car?

Ugh... the Krang were like that, too. Either kill or infect. It's such a waste. That's really messed up, what you went through... I'm really glad you got away.

[Even if she's alive here and it's technically irrelevant now, it matters in the long run, if you ask him.]

Krang infections are like, forced mutations on things and people that already exist, they don't make you into something different. So a Krang subway car was a subway car originally. People just become Krang zombies, they get freaky limbs, and grow spikes and extra eyes, but they're still mostly what they started out as.

i think i get it though! where im from anybody can do magic if u have the right materia
magic rocks basically
so if i got an earth materia i can make earthquakes
but if its a sport im guessing you can do more than that lol

Death is pretty rare here. The last time there was a string of them, it was the fae. And I don't know if dying of old age is even possible here.

This is a suit! [ Mock offense. Wolfwood has done far more to his suit than get a little wet. Far less too. There's not that much water to waste in Noman's Land. It's absolutely a cheap trick to use telekinesis on the water. It's hard to fight with physics against stuff like that.

I do not know whether old age can come for people, yet I have clearly seen that people age while they are here. It is most readily seen in the youngest of us, yet I mark it all the same across our friends and neighbors. We grow older, for whatever that means whence we come.

the avatar is like the bridge between the human and spirit worlds. sort of a peacekeeper, negotiator, font of wisdom, supposed to bring balance to the whole world thing.

so at this point if she came up to me out of nowhere and told me avatars can talk to the planet, i would believe her. i mean, i would not even QUESTION it. all i'd wanna know is what the planet thinks of me.
