Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme, April Fools edition! See, Thoth learned about April Fools from reading Chaucer but enjoys that it's an ongoing thing. Thoth's switched things up. Initial messages (aka top levels)—all set April 1st ICly—maaaaay go to the wrong person! So not all hell breaks loose, replies carry forward with whoever you've reached, but you might be texting your innermost intoxicated or sleep deprived secret to someone you don't even know.

If you'd like to opt out of misfires, please include this in your top level (by prompt or overall). Otherwise, enjoy indulging Thoth's amusement and building some new CR.

This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.

I was gonna bring my own cake. But I wouldn't mind it a la mode. Will say though, you don't want any of this. I've uh, gone through a few failures practicing.

Well, we've got a couple birthdays coming up, but I'm really worried because this one's for Peggy. And I messed up Bucky's, but I don't think he expected anything good from me. And I definitely don't want her to politely eat it.

I'm sure she'll appreciate the effort regardless. Same with Barnes.

How'd you mess his up?

Put the oven on the wrong temperature; I read the celsius number. Took forever to bake, and then it was... terrible. Got it right this time, but I think some of my ingredient ratios are off, or I mixed it too much or something.

Oof. Good news is you'll never make that mistake again.

Happy to give you my thoughts on the matter, though I'm a bake by family recipes and experience sort of gal. Sometimes recipes ain't the best in books or online.

I'd owe you big time for that. I could take all the help I can get. I'm an awful cook and a worse baker. Think it's finally time I admitted I can't do either.
