1 April Edition TFLN

Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme, April Fools edition! See, Thoth learned about April Fools from reading Chaucer but enjoys that it's an ongoing thing. Thoth's switched things up. Initial messages (aka top levels)—all set April 1st ICly—maaaaay go to the wrong person! So not all hell breaks loose, replies carry forward with whoever you've reached, but you might be texting your innermost intoxicated or sleep deprived secret to someone you don't even know.
If you'd like to opt out of misfires, please include this in your top level (by prompt or overall). Otherwise, enjoy indulging Thoth's amusement and building some new CR.
This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.
This can be used for samples on our applications and as spoons for players accepted into the game.
(exact use is not required, you can modify them for your character, you can use other sources/random text generators/shower thoughts!)

That sounds delightful.
People are messy, and so is our love. We don't need Thirteen or war or anything else big to make things messy. We're very good at doing that ourselves.

We sure don't need help making all sorts of messes. Love or otherwise.

Simply put two or more people in a room, and mess is guaranteed to happen.

It's one of my powers, making messes.

As is your divine/god-given right. Sometimes we even learn how to clean part of them up.

If you have any tips and tricks for doing that, I'm all ears.
Or eyes, in this case.

Open communication and honesty, sharing the truth of matters, is a starting point. That and a commitment to it. People who understand they are both (or all) meeting on those grounds can work through a great deal, even as we deal with hurts we may have long carried.

[She's used to charismatic men with a penchant for dramatic flair.]
And what if there's just too much baggage to work through for the love. Not that it matters. He ain't here and I doubt he'd choose to go with the fox.
[Famous last fucking words Rogue.]

He's not here, so you can work through your baggage for yourself. For your own sake. Then, if he shows up—never underestimate a fox—you'll be in a better position for it not to be too much baggage. If it still is? Whether the love works out or not, you're still better off doing what you can about it. Coming to terms. Don't fuck up what comes next because shit was fucked up in the past.
