Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme!

Because it's still April and Thoth is still amused, consider this round two of the Initial Misfire Edition. Initial messages maaaaay go to the wrong person! So not all hell breaks loose, replies carry forward with whoever you've reached, but you might be texting your innermost intoxicated or sleep deprived secret to someone you don't even know.

If you'd like to opt out of misfires, please include this in your top level (by prompt or overall). Otherwise, enjoy indulging Thoth's amusement and building some new CR.

This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.

This can be used for samples on our applications and as spoons for players accepted into the game.

I'm stuck at the hot springs with a bunch of fluffy dogs who won't let me leave. Apparently, I need to talk to someone about something people won't listen to me about. So here we are.

Oh goddamnit, it's a Trial thing. Gross. Uh, okay, so tell me more about murder being a redeeming trait? I'm fascinated by that.

Sometimes a person NEEDS to be killed. And good people will hem and haw over making such a decision despite the fact that they know it needs to be done as well. In that instance, the task falls to me and is much simpler, since I do not let things like foolish morals get in the way of my decision-making.

Right. So you get your hands dirty so no one else has to. That's very helpful. And you don't have to sign any legal documents or deal with a shitton of red tape before killing people? Can you just... do it?

I can. Whether or not there will be consequences afterwards purely depends on which world I am in at the time. In one such as this, people tend to frown upon too much killing. And some of them are so insanely sensitive that even killing ONE person puts them on their moral high fathiers for a lecture of how WRONG it all is.

[Yes Maul, because people not wanting even one person to be killed surely is what makes them sound insane.]

Ugh. Those people probably come from a version of Earth. I mean, if you visited my version of Earth, you'd find people like that everywhere. They'd end up plastering your face all over the internet and having heated debates about you and about 'ethical murder' on social media. It'd be real messy. And you'd probably get at least 200 people with protest signs following you down the street each day.

Honestly, there are some days where I miss when I could kill who I like and simply run away to another planet or hide behind the crime syndicate I created to escape the consequences. I cannot do that here and it's a bit irksome at times.
