Somehow, there is kirin on you.

Most likely, it is the fur of the kirin that was caught in the environment of wherever you’ve been; there is a stray hair on you because one was on the seat you sat on upon the train or because it blew onto the brim of your hat in the wind.

Or it may be because you met the kirin—a playful ungulate moose-sized spirit who prefers not to speak—and engaged with him and gave him a pat, or a scratch behind an ear. Maybe the kirin nosed or licked your hand because you made him laugh (it’s an adorable ‘keh keh keh’ sound).

Unfortunately for both you and the kirin (who had not meant to trouble your day like this, truly), this exposure to his dander has only one reaction, and it happens to 100% of Star Children: you are compelled to tell the entire truth. About what is less specific; you are compelled simply to announce things about yourself—your life, experiences, thoughts, opinions, feelings. No matter if it’s something silly and inconsequential, deep or secretive, life-altering or commonplace. Some may choose to do this by employing Foxi and their relic; others by finding people to exchange truth with to face to face.

When you have met the kirin’s subconscious desire for four hours, you will be free from the truth telling and the recipient of 24 hours of good luck. The good luck will be sometime in the next year rather than in the next day, and you may have no idea where it came from, but you’ll know a lucky day when you have it!

This meme is game canon unless marked otherwise at the start of threads! Threads can be used for spoons and application samples.
Assume all characters involved on this meme are affected.

The source doesn't matter to me so much as whether or not I can use it to kill the people who need killing. Spoon, and the aid of Illarion and his power. I'm pretty sure it was over half his doing, Thirteen only kept him from infecting the entire swamp with eyes.

Sometimes it's best not to take chances with that kind of thing. The element of surprise is pretty important.

It's a different sort of kindness. People treat pets differently than they treat other people. It's not weird if a dog asks to be petted, or a toy played with, or anything like that. You can't just ask someone for a hug, but nobody hesitates when it's a dog or a cat. If people know I feel everything he feels, they'll stop.

Also, you can just ask someone for a hug. If you need one, ask. If you want one, ask. It can feel embarrassing if you're not used to it, but most people like hugs.

Maybe you should have, but I understand, that's how most adults are. I'm only "a kid" until I expect the benefits of being one, which is about when most adults I'm dealing with remember what I really am. I also don't like that I'm incapable of not writing this. It shouldn't be a surprise Vincent's turned up, that Familiar Bond thing did allow the Turk to keep tabs on him and very deliberately so, but it doesn't mitigate anything. He doesn't bother to move from his spot on the floor in the only side room MEANT to be a bedroom but generally used for homework, papers and books stacked around him in betrayal of what he's been up to. Classwork never ends.

Yes, that seems fine, I'm sure there's other ways I can make this miserably awkward even without it. Why does nobody ever want to know something nice? [ This is... well, not helpful exactly. Dilithium could be called something entirely different if it existed on Gaia. But there's a nuance behind the tone that suggests the curiosity is a little more invested than just... well the advantage of this being something to distract Sephiroth from his ire.

About then, Sephiroth's relic, if it bleeps with a message arrival, does in fact bleep. Vincent looks down at it. And... types something. A trickle of agitation crosses the bond but it fades quickly. ]

I'm telling Sharon I'm holding onto your relic for now.

It's a rare naturally occuring crystal that exists in four, possibly five dimensions. I can't verify that and it sounds like nonsense but that's normal here. We have mako, I think we'd know if there were another powerful crystal type waiting to be found.

[he can hear his relic's alerts, and one is ignorable, he did hand it over but more than that..
