Truth Meme

Somehow, there is kirin on you.
Most likely, it is the fur of the kirin that was caught in the environment of wherever you’ve been; there is a stray hair on you because one was on the seat you sat on upon the train or because it blew onto the brim of your hat in the wind.
Or it may be because you met the kirin—a playful ungulate moose-sized spirit who prefers not to speak—and engaged with him and gave him a pat, or a scratch behind an ear. Maybe the kirin nosed or licked your hand because you made him laugh (it’s an adorable ‘keh keh keh’ sound).
Unfortunately for both you and the kirin (who had not meant to trouble your day like this, truly), this exposure to his dander has only one reaction, and it happens to 100% of Star Children: you are compelled to tell the entire truth. About what is less specific; you are compelled simply to announce things about yourself—your life, experiences, thoughts, opinions, feelings. No matter if it’s something silly and inconsequential, deep or secretive, life-altering or commonplace. Some may choose to do this by employing Foxi and their relic; others by finding people to exchange truth with to face to face.
When you have met the kirin’s subconscious desire for four hours, you will be free from the truth telling and the recipient of 24 hours of good luck. The good luck will be sometime in the next year rather than in the next day, and you may have no idea where it came from, but you’ll know a lucky day when you have it!

I asked Mr Valentine and he just stared at me
so do you think, since hotdogs are blended meat in a casing, usually intestine, that when we eat the hotdog, we become a hotdog as being chewed doesn't actually change the pureed status of a hotdog's origin
no subject
no bc once it's inside us it's mixed with everything else we ate and when its in the intestine its being turned to shit
and no one would eat a shit hotdog
no subject
if you let a hotdog sit in hydrochloric acid for a while nobody would eat it then either but it still would be a hotdog.
no subject
it would be whatever a thing dissolved in acid turns into
once a thing is dissolved it's not that thing anymore dude
no subject
Mr. Valentine's still staring at me. I don't think he's ever been curious about anything in his life.
no subject
hes a turk and turks are boring as hell what do you expect
hey is he affected by the truth thing too? ask him why he was sleeping in a coffin
no subject
Not every Turk is boring, I know one that can drink most P0s under the table.
I don't think he's affected but I'm going to ask him anyway just for you.
no subject
good! i was wondering about it when i realized it was the same guy
no subject
There's probably more than one good Turk, but they might have a high attrition rate.
He says he thought it was his punishment for the experiments that made him and other nebulous "sins", and that if he stayed in there it might help him atone. He didn't say why he does it NOW, I'm betting it's just habit.
Then again I don't know where he sleeps now, so maybe he has a bed.
What do you mean, the same guy?

after we escaped the lab i was lookin around hojo's shitty basement and there was a room full of coffins
most of them were full of monsters but one of em had him sleeping in it
felt rude to wake him up and i had enough goin on so i left him alone
but i wondered!
no subject
That's weird. Even if it's just somewhere Hojo's disposing of unwanted specimens, keeping them alive and putting them in coffins is strange even for him.
You should have bothered him, but I can see why you might not since you were running away at the time.
no subject
i dont know if hojo left them there or his lackeys did it. the manor lab was trash it kinda felt like it was thrown together last minute after it all went down. most of the experimenting happened at the reactor
dude i was in shit shape that day im lucky i made it up the stairs. you ever had a mako bath four years straight bc i'll tell you what it turns you into a noodle man
wasnt gonna pick a fight with the spooky goth napping in a sealed coffin

Actually I don't really want to know, it's probably depressing and things are depressing enough with this compulsion to truth thing going on. I can't even not write about cheating on midterm exams because I wanted to go home and finish watching a movie.
no subject
if he wants to call it sin then w/e
you SHOULD cheat on an exam
you're a kid thats what kids are supposed to do
skip school and cheat on the boring shit and get sick on fries and ice cream
do all of it! at least once!

Though I can't blame you on the former, I don't bother with listening to briefings because 1. dull and 2. it'll all just get said again later whether or not I go.
no subject
i could do that for joint missions but i ran a lot of solos so i had to pay enough attention to finish it :( but they mostly gave me like "go here and kill thing" missions anyway
no subject
As long as it's monsters, "go here and kill this" missions are the nice ones. Then there's no doubt you're doing the right thing at least, and saving people from getting hurt. I've never had one but Matt says they used to get those a lot, especially when scouting for new reactor placements.

mostly monsters and rogue robots though
