I guess it's not really reassuring to tell you then that I've gone way longer than this without sleeping, is it?

I don't know. On the one hand, that is definitely not a great fact. On the other, it probably is a little better if you are used to coping with it.

Not better in a good way, though. Very mixed bag on the reassuring front.

I'll be alright. Eventually my body shuts down even if my mind is still busy and I end up getting some rest that way.

Insomnia is terrible even at the best of times.
