Texts From Last Night

Welcome to Folkmore's Texts From Last Night meme! This meme can be used as a branch off from our Test Drive Memes and be used as game canon or just for casual fun in the setting! You do not need to be in our game or be invited to play on our TFLN. This can be a great way to meet current players for future invites, get a feel for the setting, or just have some fun.

This can be used for samples on our applications and used as spoons for players accepted into the game!

the amount of psychological damage i just took at 'captain britain'

does every country need their own. i even met the russian knockoff...

I'm embarrassed to admit I wore the mantle once.

Some have less blunt names. Guardian in Canada. He wears a giant maple leaf to make up for not being Captain Canada.

I think I also met the Russian knockoff. Seems like a nice enough guy all things considered.

hope you were properly compensated for that humiliation.

the maple leaf sounds even worse than any regurgitated patriotic title.

bit bumbling, but mostly harmless. could probably use a new costume, seems a bit stuck in his glory days.

If you saw the costume I had to wear you would understand there is no compensation to make up for it. The worst part? I arrived in it here.

I wish I had a picture. Seeing how the maple leaf is incorporated is...something.

Bumbling and overly positive, but I suppose that should be counted as a positive. Can't disagree about him needing a new costume though.

hopefully you burned it and any security footage that exists of it.

now why am i picturing that "something" being vulgar.

hell, i probably need a new one too at this rate. i've been wearing it well over a decade.

Luckily for me I don't show up on security footage.

Because it was. Themed costumes like that usually just don't work.

A decade is a rather long time. I've stuck with a few longer than others, but I still like to switch it up here and there. Or change depending on the team and our goals.

I would say you could try designing something new here but there isn't too much need is there?

invisible only to cameras? what are you, a vampire?

especially if you're meant to be some sort of public figure. imagine being on a billboard or some magazine cover. distasteful.

lost me at team. i'd absolute never coordinate costumes for some tacky group thing.

my suit is more for function and utility than aesthetic, really. but no, if there ever is such a need, somebody else can handle it.

Perhaps. I can be invisible to the naked eye too if I want.

Sadly I don't have to imagine that.

Oh, it's not that bad. My most recent one is just our usual uniform (which are eat individualized) but in black. Substantially better than the time we all wore blue and yellow.

I've known more than a few people with suits like that. I feel a bit guilty saying it, but I feel somewhat the same there. That someone else can handle it.
