Then I will say two things, lacking definitive confirmation on this: if I know this person, I care about her feelings and how she is spoken of, so I reiterate my request for you to stop using that word. If I know her, she has experienced enough hurt over her life, it is of course impossible to fully prevent more, but this is an easy way to lessen it. Secondly I would say, if I know this person, I am not going to be going out of my way to inform her of things that would hurt her without good cause, for instance if it doesn't stop, but neither will I lie to her if it comes up.

Okay. I'll try not to intentionally hurt her. It's that I always mean to do that, it's just sometimes the only way I know how to react to things is by making sure other people around me are in pain.

Judging by what I've seen, it's because both of you are kind of weird. And I only say this because I'm weird too, which is how I think I formed a connection with Ava to begin with.

Well, she was equally insulted by me calling her nice the other day, so, for the record, I am not saying she is a nice person, but she is certainly nicer than me. The bar being in hell, as it is.

I have found much more utility in meanness or, at minimum, bluntness. Which a lot of people take as the same thing.

I just do it because most of my energy already goes into being a barely functional human being, so I don't have a lot of fucks left over to give in trying to get along with everyone.
