I am certainly far too old for that custom, but it is when I learned of it. The Trial did involve some transforming into their costumes.

self identification. like a calling card, or a symbol. you know, how people claim something is their doing at the scene. except i can't. because it does defeat the purpose of operating anonymously and being untraceable.

wasn't really a tradition where i grew up, back when i was still able to do... regular kid things. always thought it might be fun. but yes, too old for such things now.

No. That aspect of the Trial skipped me over in favor of sending me to traverse Baba Yaga's house.

I was also sent to the masquerade once. From what I understand some were sent there every night throughout the month.

No. I doubt there's much I could learn at any of them and if I were to offer to teach anyone combat, it would be outside of the school. I prefer to do things on my own terms.

Not the free food offered at Thirteen sponsored events at least.
